Peter Rabbit's World

CONCEPT
I would like to do a theme park based on Beatrix Potter’s world of Peter Rabbit.  The profits from the gift shop would go to Ormond Street Hospital Charity as Beatrix Potter left the proceeds of book sales to that charity after she died.

RIDES AND ATTRACTIONS
Rides: There is a carousel, a small roller coaster, a slow moving caterpillar ride.  The carousel animals are all based on Beatrix Potter’s illustrations from her books.  The roller coaster is based on Peter Rabbit’s escape from Mr. McGregor in the book The Tale of Peter Rabbit.  The rides are all undercover in case of rain.

Shops: There is a gift shop where customers can buy Peter Rabbit books and merchandise.  Profits of this go towards the Ormond Street Hospital.

Other Attractions: There is a small petting zoo that mainly features rabbits, shelter kittens and puppies (both adoptable), and some farm animals.  There is also a garden where families can pick tomatoes, carrots, berries, onions and herbs.  You can also meet Peter Rabbit, Squirrel Nutkin, Benjamin Bunny, the Flopsy Bunnies and other characters.  And lastly, there are story times happening every hour where a story reader reads Peter Rabbit’s story and other tales by Beatrix Potter.  There are also art projects happening every hour that range from coloring to simple paper crafts.

SUPPORT SYSTEMS
Food and Restaurants: All the food is designed to be very kid friendly.  Healthy options are the most important part including lots of fresh fruits and veggies.  There are both adult water fountains and children’s water fountains.

Bathrooms: The bathrooms all have larger stalls to allow parents to assist their children in potty needs.  There are multiple baby changing stations in each bathroom with diaper (for all sizes of children), wipe, rash cream, and powder vending machines located in every bathroom that are always kept stocked.  There are tiny potties and big people potties.  There are also children’s sinks and adult sinks.

Music: The music is all very happy and uplifting.  It is child friendly, without being nursery rhymes

Nap areas: There is a large room that is very quiet and clean that allows guests and kids to have quiet time.  There are books and clean blankets to allow kids and parents have a rest period during the day.  This is designed in case some parents have infants or smaller babies that they are bringing along with their older (2-5 year old) children.

Staffing: All the staff must be kind and friendly to the guests and especially the children.  They must go through special training to learn to handle things like anxious children, tantruming children, special needs children, sick children and misbehaving children.  They are meant to aid the parents and keep the children happy and safe.

First Aid: There is also a first aid building in case of any accidents.  Most kids just need a band aid for invisible boo boos.  The band aids all are Peter Rabbit themed.  The first aid center is designed to be very child friendly, with pleasing colors and friendly staff.
